Area artists and art enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity the first weekend in March.
The Austin Area Art Center will host the third annual Starving Artist Sale Saturday, March 5 at the Oak Park Mall.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can see a variety of art, such as original paintings, prints, photographs, ceramics, digital art, hand-crafted jewelry and other items near the entrance of Oak Park Mall. All sales will be tax-free.
Artists and crafters still have time to register if they stop by the Austin Area Art Center

The event is in cooperation with the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, Inc. through funding from the Minnesota State Legislature.
