BYRON — The Awesome Blossoms baseball team had one tough inning that cost them in an 11-6 loss to Byron (3-2 overall) on the road Monday.

Blooming Prairie led 4-0 going into the bottom of the third, when they committed three errors and walked five batters that helped the Bears score eight times in the frame.

“That was the trouble inning,” BP head coach Paul Peterson said. “Other than that, we out-hit them.”

John Rumpza took the loss on the mound for BP as he lasted four innings and walked six, while striking out two. Fiebiger struck out three in relief.
