MANKATO — The Awesome Blossoms softball team committed eight errors as they lost to Mankato Loyola (3-0 overall, 2-0 Gopher) on the road Tuesday.

Shelbi Swenson struck out 10 and allowed zero earned runs, but she still took the loss for Blooming Prairie (3-1 overall, 0-1 Gopher).

“Shelbi pitched a real good game, but the middle of our order just isn’t hitting right now,” BP head coach Ali Mach said. “(Loyola) played good and made us make mistakes.”
