Both state qualifying wrestlers from Austin had their seasons come to an end in the wrestleback round at the Class ‘AAA’ state meet in Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Saturday.

Austin’s 103-pound sophomore Devon Felten, who is 29-10 on the year, picked up a pin 33 seconds into his match with Matt Meuwissen of Whiter Bear Lake, but Felten lost to Luke Rowh of Hastings 11-0.

Austin sophomore Erick Power lost his first wrestleback match to Dan Babineau of Brainerd/Pillager on a 14-6 decision.

Power finishes the season at 25-18 at 119 pounds.
