Last summer, Austin was one of 12 cities selected for a series of “Community Conversations,” and now the group that hosted the event is inviting the public to a dessert reception and presentation of the findings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Austin Public Library, 323 Fourth Ave. NE.

The League of Minnesota Cities held four conversations with Austin residents in 2011 called “Cities, Services, and Funding: Broader Thinking, Better Solutions.” Now, the League is preparing to release a report of its findings.
