Luther O. Wasmoen, 84, formerly of Edina, Minn., has died.

Luther served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was an international training director for PAKO Corp.

Luther was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia. He is survived by his son Thomas (Barb); grandchildren Chelsea and Steven; sister Grace Van Proosdy; sister-in-law, Lois Wasmoen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Luther will receive a private inurnment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. His memorial service is Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 11 a.m at Valley Community Presbyterian Church, 3100 Lilac Dr. N., Golden Valley, Minn.
