The Austin Parks and Recreation board voted Wednesday to charge all adult teams for any games played at the Riverland Baseball Complex.

The rates will be $25 for day games and $50 for night games using lights. Rental rates are already in place for adult baseball tournaments, and according to a memo from parks and recreation director Kim Underwood, adults pay per game rates in other sports.

Money collected from game fees would help maintain the fields, the memo notes.
