JANESVILLE — The Blooming Prairie baseball team turned three double plays as it snapped an eight-game losing streak and beat Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (4-6 overall) 7-1 on the road Friday.

Freshman pitcher John Rumpza picked up the win for the Awesome Blossoms (2-8 overall) as he scattered five hits in seven innings.
