The Austin boys golf team took second out of three teams at Austin Country Club Tuesday.

The Packers were led by Alex Thorson, who shot a 77, and Isaac Christianson, who shot a 78.

“I am very proud of those two for stepping up their game and not allowing the weather to be a factor in their round, and also being proud of their teammates round as well,” Austin head coach Chris Gogolewski said. “Solid from tee to green today from both boys.”

Austin finished with a score of 344, while Rochester John Marshall took third with a 345. Owatonna won the meet with a 329.
