ROSEMOUNT, Minn. (AP) — An investment in some ‘face time’ on an electronic billboard has paid off for a Minnesota job seeker.

Twenty-two-year-old Bennett Olson says he’s landed a sales job with Laser Design & GKS Services, a 3D scanning company in Bloomington. In April, Olson paid $300 for an 8-second time slot on a rotating electronic billboard near downtown Minneapolis. His ad was up for 24 hours. It featured his photo, huge words “Hire Me!” and his web address.

In an email to KARE-TV (http://kare11.tv/IRW9P9 ), Olson says Laser Design is a young, yet established company with room for growth.
