The Red Cross will hold two area blood drives during the end of May, one in Brownsdale and another in LeRoy.

The Red Cross will be at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Brownsdale from 2 to 7 p.m. on May 29 and at the LeRoy Community Center from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 30.

This summer, the American Red Cross Live Life Give Life summer promotion is also raising awareness for the constant need for blood and to encourage regular donations. Donors between May 21 and Sept. 5 will be entered into the promotion for a chance to win prize packages from GiftCertificates.com.
