Pacelli High School held its prom Sunday at the Austin Country Club.

Members of the junior and senior classes and their friends got together at the Austin Country Club for the biggest party of the school year. All upperclassmen were welcome to attend whether they came with a date or a group of friends.

The theme chosen for this year’s Pacelli prom was “We Don’t Have to Look Back Now,” and the color theme was purple and silver. The junior class was busy planning this event, which means selecting a meal, decorations and a DJ.  Dinner began at 6 p.m. and the Grand March took place at 7:30 p.m. Parents and friends were welcome to attend the Grand March at the Austin Country Club.  There was no charge to attend.

Once the dance was over, students changed their clothes and headed over to the Pacelli Gym for the After-Prom Party. This event was a drug-free, alcohol free, lock-in event.

Because of the generous donations of numerous local merchants and sponsors, all students who attended received a gift bag and a chance to win various prizes.

The Pacelli juniors and seniors also drew for larger gifts at the end of the evening.
