Southland baseball team tops Caledonia-Spring Grove

ADAMS — The Southland baseball team scored three runs in the first inning and it held on to beat Caledonia-Spring Grove (11-7 overall) in Adams Tuesday.
Sam Klaehn picked up the win for the Rebels (9-8 overall, 9-8 Three Rivers) as he allowed just five hits in his first career start.
“Sam pitched fairly decent and it was nice to finally get a one run win after losing four games by one,” Southland head coach Scott Retterath said.
