The Austin High School Alumni & Friends Association is still looking for nominations for this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award.

The award’s presentation coincides with Homecoming, scheduled for Sept. 28 this year. Nominees must be available to take part in Homecoming activities as well. Nominees must also:

—Have graduated from AHS at least 10 years prior to nomination.

—Contributed to society in an exemplary manner.

—Have achieved outstanding success in a business, a profession, the arts, humanitarian efforts or community service.

—Be a positive role model for today’s students.
