The Board of Directors of the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, Inc. awarded 23 grants last week for a total of $110,035 in funding to applicants throughout southeastern Minnesota, including two in Mower County.

The Austin Artist Series received a $3,000 presenter/production assistance grant for Siberian Virtuosi, and the Austin Community Charitable Fund received a $10,000 arts and cultural heritage grant for Austin Artworks Festival artist fees.
