Carmel C. Scheid Wald, 95, of Fremont, Neb., formerly of Austin, Minn., died Monday, May 21, 2012, at the Fremont Area Medical Center.

Service: A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Donald Zenk officiating.

Visitation: There will be a 6:30 p.m. wake service on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m.

Interment: Interment will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Easton, Minn.

Funeral Home: Arrangements are by Mayer Funeral Home.

Memorials: Memorials are preferred to St. Augustine Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
