Anna Catherine Meyer, 95, of South Beloit, Ill. and formerly of Austin, Minn, died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.

Anna was born April 1, 1917, in Avoca, Minn., the daughter of Theodore and Katherine (Hollis) Lammers. She married Leonard “Shorty” Meyer on June 30, 1937. He predeceased her on Jan. 30, 2002. Anna was a member of The Church of the Holy Spirit in Roscoe, Ill.

Survivors include her five children, Betty (Bob) Scott, Jerry (Bev) Meyer, Karol (Jim) Jansen, Karon (Ken) Pelz, and Lynda Beck; two daughters-in-law, Barb and Barbie Meyer; two brothers, Joe Lammers and Bernard (Virginia) Lammers; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Lammers; 27 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband; two sons, Larry and Terry Meyer; three brothers, John, Frank, and Tony Lammers; and sister, Agnes Weber.

A memorial Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012, in The Church of the Holy Spirit, 5637 Broad Street, Roscoe, Ill. with Father Charles McNamee officiating. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on July 21, 2012, in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Rose Creek, Minn. with burial to follow. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
