FARIBAULT — The Packer girls golf team finished seventh at the Big Nine golf meet with a team score of 394 in Faribault Thursday.

The meet was delayed for an hour and a half due to rain and lightning,

“We played really well today even though our score didn’t show it,” Austin head coach Erik LaRock said. “Everyone got a lot of experience this year.”

Austin junior Steph Justice led the Packers as she shot a 95.

Austin junior Lauren Stasi was selected to the All Big Nine team at the meet.

Austin will next compete in the Section 1AAA golf meet in Cannon Falls next Thursday.
