The Cedar River Watershed District may have a new manager Tuesday.

The Mower County Board of Commissioners will likely choose from a small pool of applicants to fill Dan Regner’s position. Regner served his last meeting March 16.

The county personnel committee is expected to recommend an applicant to the full board.

The new CRWD board manager must live in Mower County within the watershed and should be knowledgeable of watershed issues, but not looking to serve his or her own agenda.

The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday with Human Services business in the county board room of the government center. Committee reports are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
