Austin schools receives donations

Books and tradition were big Austin Public School causes to donate to this month.
The district school board accepted several donations Monday evening for books, supplies, and restoration efforts.
Ellis Middle School’s parent teacher committee donated $1,250 to Ellis for supplies for this year’s Eagle Bluff field trip.
David and Sue Ruzek donated $50 for Ellis’ Burning Bush restoration project. Connie Nelson contributed the same amount.
The Garry Family, with Hormel Matching Funds, contributed $350 to Neveln Elementary School for library books.
Woodson Kindergarten Center staff and parents contributed $145 for bilingual library books.
The Northwestern Singers donated $100 to Neveln’s music department for supplies.
