Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be the featured guest at the Development Corporation of Austin’s 2008 annual meeting Monday (today).

The meeting, which is not open to the public, begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Austin Country Club.

Gov. Pawlenty will discuss the state’s economic climate and key priorities for positioning Minnesota for future success.

Other meeting business will include the DCA financial report, DCA election of officers and remarks from DCA’s Board Chair Bill Snyder and DCA Executive Director John Garry.

The DCA is an economic development agency serving Austin and Mower County.

The DCA has traditionally focused on businesses involved in the industrial, manufacturing and technology sector.
