An Austin man pleaded guilty in Mower County District Court Wednesday to terroristic threats after threatening a customer service representative.
Trevor Klingele, 29, was taken into custody at his home Monday after he became upset over an overdraft charge after he made a deposit at US Bank.
The report indicates Klingele threatened to find and kill the rep, who was located at a call center in Cincinnati. According to the report, he said to the rep, “You better put the Austin branch on notice, because I’m coming to get my money.”
According to police, Klingele said he was out of work and trying to feed his kids on an unemployment check.
Klingele is scheduled for sentencing in Mower County District Court Oct. 9.
