MARSHALL, Minn. (AP) — Grief counselors will be available this week at Marshall Middle School to help students cope with the deaths of two 14-year-old girls.
Lyon County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in Island Lake Township, just southwest of Marshall, Saturday where Haylee Fentress and Paige Moravetz were found dead.
Investigators tell KSTP-TV the girls apparently took their own lives. Both girls were from nearby Lynd.
Marshall Superintendent Klint Willert says the district is working with local mental health services and the local ministerial association to make counseling available all week.
