Though Mower County judges Fred Wellmann and Donald Rysavy aren’t up for re-election until 2014, eight other 3rd Judicial District Judges’ terms expire in 2012.

Judges seeking re-election include: Christina K. Stevens, seat 1; John T. Cajacob, seat 2; Jeffrey D. Thompson, seat 4; Ross L. Leuning, seat 5; Robert Birnbaum, seat 9; Debra Ann Jacobson, seat 10; Christine A. Long, seat 12; Joseph Frederick Chase, seat 15.

In the court of appeals — where offices are elected statewide — Renee L. Worke of the 1st Congressional District and Jill FlasKamp Halbrooks of the 5th Congressional District are up for reelection.

Supreme Court Chief Justice Lorie S. Gildea is also up for re-election, along with associate justices G. Barry Anderson and David R. Stras.
