The Austin girls golf team had a season-low score of 372, but had to settle for second place the Mankato West triangular Tuesday.

Austin’s Catherine Wagner bested her previous season low by seven strokes when she shot a 78 to take home her second medal of the year.

“We were happy with our score,” Austin head coach Carissa Gabrielson said. “We just wish we could’ve had one more score below 90.”

The Scarlets took first with a 362 and Winona was third with a 411.
