The recent nuclear crisis at the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant in Japan equates to the severity of the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. Alan Bode, Associate Professor and Radiography Program Director from St. Catherine University toured the Chernobyl site on the 20th anniversary of the accident.

Bode will share information concerning the current conditions surrounding the Chernobyl Plant as well as health concerns caused by the radiation exposure. The 60-minute lecture/ discussion will be in Austin West Building, Room A237 starting at Noon on Monday, April 25.
