Wal-Mart will be allowing us to use the southwest corner of their store for our tour departures, in all of our future trips.
We are pleased with this new pick-up site and appreciate your patience as we get the word out.
Our recent trip took us to a presentation of “On Golden Pond” at the Excelsior Old Log Dinner Theater.
The comedy, is about an older couple’s family, originally played by Henry Ford and Katharine Hepburn as his wife, with Jane Fonda as the couples’ daughter. The father learns to bond with the 14 year old grandson.
Blessed with so much charm and honest sentiment, its truly an enduring show. The walleye and smoked windsor chop meal prior to the show was something to brag about as well.
On June 16 will be attending “Guys and Dolls,” at the Ordway Theater in St. Paul.
This musical is set in the colorful background of New York and is filled with everyone from gangsters, and showgirls, to a doll trying to save her soul. You will recognize songs such as “Luck be a Lady,” and “Sit down your Rocking the Boat.”
A noon lunch has been planned prior to the production. The time to sign-up has been extended with seats still available. Departure is 9:15 a.m. with a return time of about 7 p.m.
