Our beloved husband, dad and grandpa, 84, passed away April 20, 2011, after a long struggle with emphysema.

Bob was born on the farm in Blooming Prairie, Minn., on June 13, 1926, to Ernest and Gladys M. Srsen. After graduating from Blooming Prairie High School in 1944, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps where he served with the Occupational Forces in Japan. He married the love of his life, Delphia M. Anderson, in 1947. Bob worked at the Austin Auto Company and Holiday Cars until his retirement in 1988. He also was a part-time bartender at Gus Young’s and later Tommy’s Supper Club for many years.

Bob’s small pleasures in life were his dogs, hunting, fishing and riding his tractor. His sense of humor, wealth of knowledge, storytelling, thoughtfulness and graciousness will be missed and remembered by many. He greatly appreciated his many friends, enjoyed his family and adored his wife.
