City-wide garage sales are like holidays. They come once a year; people take off of work for them, and they’re fun. But they don’t always get noticed.

For this year’s event on Saturday, May 7, make sure more people know about your garage sale by publishing it in the Daily Herald’s special section: The official Austin City Wide Sale. With 10 lines for $10, list your sale, along with whatever gems have been hiding around the house for too long. Bolster your ad with borders for an extra $1, or a STOP sign for an extra $2.

All ads will be posted May 5 and 6 on the Herald website and included in the special section inside the Daily Herald.

Return the form, which can be found in print editions of the Herald or online at austindailyherald.com, and automatically be entered for a chance to win four tickets to Chanhassen dinner theatres.
