Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams held a Service of Ordination for Scott William Roser on Sunday, June 17.

Bishop Steven Ullestad of the Northeastern Iowa Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church of American conducted the ordination. Ralph Quere, Professor Emeritus at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa, gave the message. The congregation presented a stole to Roser to mark the occasion and a luncheon was held afterwards.

Roser is a 2007 graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, and a 2012 graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary. He is the son of Chris and Cathy Roser of Rose Creek. Roser and his wife, Kara, will be moving to Strawberry Point, Iowa, where he has accepted a call to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
