Laura Madson, daughter of Steve and Kerry Madson and Shelley and Gregg Yocom of Austin, and Shawn Pfeil, son of Teri and Larry Pfeil of Austin, will unite in marriage.

Laura is a 2003 graduate of Austin High School. She also graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2007 with a major in public relation/organizational communication. She is a member services director at the LaCrosse YMCA.

Shawn is a 2004 graduate of Pacelli High School, attended UW-LaCrosse and will be a 2011 graduate of Winona State University with a degree in psychology and school counseling. He is a service associate at Riverfront, Inc.

Proud grandparents include Bernette Nelson of Alden, Dennis and Darlene Madson of Lake Mills, Iowa, Ron and Carolyn Yocom of Austin, Romaine Anderson of Eau Claire, Wis.

The couple will wed June 11, 2011, at St. Augustine’s Church in Austin.
