Central College sophomore Drew Osier, a 2010 Austin grad, will compete at the NCAA Division III men’s golf championships held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C., May 10-13.

Osier has a spring season stroke average of 77.7. He claimed runner-up honors at the Simpson Spring Invitational earlier this season.

The Dutch are making their 30th NCAA tournament appearance since 1975, but their first under coach Chad Green. Central captured its 29th Iowa Conference title earlier this spring to earn an automatic-bid into the tournament.

Central tied for 17th the team standings last season. The school’s best finish was fifth place in 1985, when Brian Goldsworthy won the NCAA title to claim the best individual performance in the program’s history.

Central College is located in Pella, Iowa.
