The Austin girls track and field team took third out of three teams in Mankato West Thursday.

The Packers scored 37 team points, while West won the meet with a 92 and Albert Lea had 57 points.

“You could tell the girls were a little wore out tonight after the true team meet on Tuesday,” Austin head coach Nancy Jones said. “They also had a shock as it was warm and humid when we left Austin and we had quite a bit cooler temperatures when we got to Mankato.”
