A motorcycle rider is OK after being knocked off his bike by a car on Sunday in Austin.
Charles Marks, 48, of Austin, received a bloody nose and minor injuries when Lourdes Falch, 48, allegedly ran through a stop sign with her Chrysler Siebring and knocked Marks off his Harley Davidson. According to the police report, Falch was going south on Eighth Street NW just before 7 p.m. and did not see Marks heading eastbound on 10th Avenue. The report also states that Falch did not stop but possibly slowed down.
EMTs medically cleared Marks at the scene. Falch was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, and the accident report has been forwarded to the county attorney’s office.
