EMTs took a local woman to the hospital on Sunday after she crashed into the Austin Christian Fellowship church.

According to the police report, an officer and EMTs went to the 1100 block of 24th Avenue SW, where Michelle O’Connor, 55, had allegedly ran into the church. She complained of neck pain.

O’Connor was allegedly traveling eastbound on 24th Avenue in her Ford Escape at about 9:30 a.m. when she went through the church parking lot and into the church. No others were injured in the crash.
