KSMQ-TV is getting recognition for its farm-friendly programming.
The station was honored at a statewide conference last week for its production of local TV programs that focus on agricultural issues. KSMQ Production Manager Chuck Czech accepted the Ag and Industry Award from the Minnesota Association of Ag Educators during the group’s state conference in Morton on July 11. The award cited Czech “for his professionalism, quality work and diligent efforts to educate the KSMQ audience about Minnesota agriculture.”
The award came about through Czech’s work as producer and director of the KSMQ-TV program ‘Farm Connections.’
“We here at KSMQ know how hard Chuck works on making the best television productions possible, including the ‘Farm Connections’ program,” said Eric Olson, KSMQ President and CEO. “It is a much-deserved honor for Chuck that he receive an endorsement from an organization like MAAE.”
