An argument in Adams on Tuesday ended when a woman was allegedly struck in her head by a flying burrito.

Adams Police and a Mower County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the home in Adams at about 9:45 p.m. for a report of a domestic dispute. When they arrived, they found Troy Hansen, 40, had allegedly thrown his burrito at the woman, as toppings were still on her head and right shoulder. The police report states the two were arguing over cigarettes before Hansen threw the burrito. The victim said she was scared.

Hansen was arrested for domestic assault, which would also be a probation violation, according to Sheriff Terese Amazi. Police say Hansen was intoxicated during the fight.

Hansen will be formally charged in Mower County Court.
