NEW RICHLAND — The Hayfield Legion baseball team had its season come to an end on a pair of lopsided losses at the First District finals in New Richland Saturday.

Hayfield (14-7 overall) lost an elimination game to La Crescent 14-2 and it fell to Stewartville 14-2 in its first game of the day.

The game against Stewartville was scoreless unitl Stewartville scored six runs in the fourth inning to take over.
