Thieves allegedly nab $250 worth of metal material

A local electrical contractor is missing a lot of supplies after an alleged theft on Saturday morning.
Police went to Southgate Elementary School at about 9 a.m. Saturday, where Schammel Electric workers say someone stole 100 feet worth of the company’s steel conduit piping. According to the police report, the piping was sitting on a pallet in a parking lot at Southgate. The material is reportedly worth about $250.
Police do not have any suspects at this time.
