Betty Ann Godfredson, 74, died Aug. 10, 2012 in Ashland, Ohio, from cancer.

Betty was born May 13, 1938, in Cook County, Ill., to Eino Johnson and Francis Mortellero. She married Pete Godfredson on Aug. 18, 1962, in Minnesota. Betty attended Mankato State and worked as a Stewardess for United Airlines. She also worked as a representative for Newton Manufacturing and was owner of an antique shop. She was a member of Clipped Wings and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Betty is survived by her sister, Peggy Haverty of Arizona; husband, Pete Godfredson of Ohio; children, Julie Kisic of Colorado, Holly Edwards of Ohio, Peder Godfredson of North Carolina and Rebecca Mounts of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Betty will take place at 10 a.m. on Aug. 18, 2012, at St. Peters in Mansfield, Ohio, with Father Tom officiating, 74. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Snyder Funeral Home in Lexington, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.
