Dodie loved being involved in a multitude of card clubs, bridge clubs, square dancing, dancing to big band music and singing whenever and wherever she had the chance. Music was a big part of her life. Choir practice and Bible studies on Thursday nights at Crane Chapel inspired much of what she did. Enjoying her families by playing card games and dice games on many of an occasion, or even no occasion at all, brought her beautiful smile and fun personality to life.

Dodie is survived by her four children, Tamra (Steve) Arnold, Owatonna, Minn., Rick (Lydia) Fett, Sunland, Calif., Ron Fett, Van Nuys, Calif., Barry (Christy) Fett, Adams, Minn.; grandchildren Lindsey Arnold, Brady Arnold, Kelsey Arnold, Kory Arnold, Elizabeth Velezmoro, Paul Velezmoro, Raven Fett, Joshua Fett, Isaiah Fett, and Payton Fett; sister Virginia “Jeada” Dunlap, Austin; brother Loren “Sunny” (Marian) Sutherland, Sun City West, Ariz.; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her very loving husband, Mirlen.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at the Crane Community Chapel with Pastor Dale Christiansen officiating. A reception will follow the service. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
