A Hayfield senior is hoping to make his mark on the University of Wisconsin-River Falls men’s basketball team next season.

Kody Kramer, who averaged 12.2 points and 6.6 rebounds for the Vikings this past season, is set to enroll at UW-RF, where he is looking to play basketball.

“I just have to try out in the fall like all the rest of the freshman and we’ll see where it goes from there,” Kramer said. “It should be fun, but I also have no idea what to expect from it.”

Kramer chose UW-RF, which is a Division III school, out of two private schools and he likes the location of his new school. He hopes to play small forward at the next level.

The Falcons were 9-16 overall last season.
