ROCHESTER — The Austin boys took 13th out of 20 teams and teh Packer girls finished 11th out of 19 teams at the Rochester Mayo cross country invite Thursday.

Freshman Madison Overby took sixth for the girls and Haley Splinter took 23rd.

Mason Wollersheim ran a career best time and took 20th for the boys and Andrew Baker took 22nd.

“Our top runners continue to run very well,” Austin head coach Tony Einertson said. “Madison placed sixth in a very strong field that included several ranked runners from both class A and AA. Mason had a great race. It is nice to see him working his way up to the front of the pack
