Allen Otto Waletzke, 63, died Sept. 11, 2012, in Meadview, Ariz., from complications of a heart disease.

Allen was born Nov. 10, 1949, in Winona, Minn., to Lucile and Andrew Waletzke. He graduated from Austin High School and Austin Community College, then attended the University of Minnesota. Allen enjoyed gold prospecting and was an avid rock hound. His favorite pastime was mountain trail riding on the Grand Canyon trails just outside his residence.

He is survived by his mother: Lucile (Pape) Waletzke of Winona, Minn.; two children: Jill Waletzke of St. Paul, Minn., and Matthew Waletzke of New York, N.Y.; one brother: David Waletzke of Austin, Minn.; four sisters, Carol Davis of Corona, Calif., Jan Morris of Meadview, Ariz., Judy Bullington and Shirley Caine of Willits, Calif.; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-aunts.

Allen was preceded in death by Andrew Waletzke Sr. and Andrew Waletzke Jr.
