Robert J. Walker, 63, of Austin, Minn., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.

Robert Joseph Walker was born Jan. 11, 1949, in Albert Lea, Minn., the son of Wesley and Marie (Goodnature) Walker. After graduating from high school, he completed Farrier and Auctioneering schools. His life passion was working with and training horses.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Susanne Zeman and Bernadette Walker; and brother-in-law, Richard Zeman.

Robert is survived by his son, Trebor Walker; sisters, Joanne Zeman, Mary Lou (Robert) Chappuis and Bernice (Leo) Zeman; brother-in-law, Ray Zeman; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Brownsdale, Minn., on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, with Father Dale Tupper and Father James Seitz officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
