The newspapers and TV show so many fires, and most of them are at night. Do we have full-time experienced firemen on duty 24 hours, and with the expanding town do we have enough full-time firemen? This needs to be addressed seriously. It could be your home, and your family that needs firemen. Do you want call-ins with very little experience? We need at least 12 full-time firemen 24 hours a day, and they need to be experienced.

Right now we have only nine. Is this enough to keep us safe? I think not. What if there is more than one fire at a time? Someone’s home is going to burn to the ground.

Hopefully it won’t be someone’s loved ones who won’t be saved. Who’s in charge of this? Get real. We seem to have money for foolish things. Put the money where it’s needed and save lives and homes. We are not safe.
