Susan Weberg, 66, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Susan Kay Weberg of Albert Lea will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. The Rev. John Holt will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service.

Susan died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. She was 66 years old.

Susan was born Nov. 27, 1945, in Albert Lea to Kenneth and Shirley (Johnson) Oman.

Susan graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1964 and has been a lifetime resident of Albert Lea.

She married Larry Weberg on Feb. 14, 1965, at First Lutheran Church, Albert Lea, where she has been a lifetime member. Susan enjoyed music. She played the drums with the He and She band for 2 1/2 years and then played with K. Lee Stevens band. Susan enjoyed sewing, animals and especially enjoyed showing and raising dogs, music and singing. Susan enjoyed attending auctions and collecting things like antique sewing machines.

Susan is survived by her husband Larry Weberg of Albert Lea; son Jeff Weberg and his wife Dolores of Hollandale and their children: Angela (Weberg) and her husband Tony O’Connell, Amber (Weberg) and her husband Dustin Olson and their son Dominic Lee; daughter Stacia Lynn Martinez Baas of Albert Lea and her children Alicia Jo Martinez and her daughter Gracey Lynn Reich of Mason City, Iowa; Ericha Marie Martinez and her children Evan Victor Jones and Ariana Maria Lynn Jones of Mason City; Janette Nicole Martinez and her children Preston Dean Powell and Collin Luis Powell of Mason City; father Kenneth Oman of Albert Lea; brothers: Steve Oman and his wife Kari of Albert Lea and Scott Oman of Albert Lea.

Susan is preceded in death by her mother Shirley Oman; mother and father-in-law Alvin and Opal Weberg.

Susan’s family would like to thank everyone for your love, prayers and support you have given Susan when she was sick. Susan will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
