ALBERT LEA — Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton and state DFL leaders are slated to be back in Albert Lea Friday on a tour across the state four days shy of Election Day.
Dayton, DFL Chairman Ken Martin and House Minority Leader Paul Thissen, DFL-Minneapolis, are scheduled to be at the Union Center at 2:15 p.m. for a rally.
Dayton came to Albert Lea last Monday to stump for District 27A House candidate Shannon Savick, DFL-Wells, and District 27 Sen. Dan Sparks, DFL-Austin.
The visit comes as politicians on both sides around the state are making a last-minute attempt to rally voters.
Speaker of the Minnesota House Kurt Zellers, R-Maple Grove, was in Albert Lea at Friday to rally for District 27A Rep. Rich Murray, R-Albert Lea.
