Bruins beat Brookings 4-1

The Austin Bruins took sole possession of first place in the NAHL Central Division when they beat the Brookings Blizzard (13-5 overall) 4-1 in Riverside Arena Friday night.

Riley Colvard scored a shorthanded goal in the second period to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead and they never looked back.

Nicholas Lehr had 18 saves in the win for Austin (14-3-2 overall).
