David Bates, 61, Shakopee

David Money Bates, 61, of Shakopee, was called home on Nov. 7, 2012.

David was born on Dec. 30, 1950, in Memphis, Tenn., to James and Thelma Bates.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jimmy, Henry, Finus and Michael, his sisters Elanore and Paula.

David is survived by his sisters Patsy, Emily and Gail, his children Joshua, Heath, Kiley, Alena, Thomas, Tina and his adored grandchildren.

A memorial service is will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, at Lunder Lutheran Church, 14982 735th Ave., Albert Lea.

Interment to follow services.
